After completing my degree in Psychology at the University of York I was offered a Teaching Assistant role at The Pilgrim School, although I did not know it at the time this was only the start of my teaching journey, and also my journey as part of The Pilgrim School community.  I then went on to qualify as a Teacher in 2020 and I currently teach Maths and Psychology; both of which were subjects I had a love for from an early age. Teaching at The Pilgrim School is thoroughly rewarding; enabling me to support our pupils to learn, thrive and grow in all aspects of life as well as working with such a supportive team who always have the pupils' interests at heart.

In 2023 I took over the role of SENDCo, and undertake this role alongside my teaching. In this role I support the pupils and their families within our school community to get the right support, at the right place, at the right time.

I look forward to continuing working with the pupils and their families alongside such a wonderful team!
