Communication

Pupils and families will be in regular contact with their Academic Link and/or PSWS on a personal level throughout their engagement with The Pilgrim School, alongside pupil reports and parents evenings twice a year that you would expect from most schools.

In addition to this, and to help broaden your understanding of the whole of The Pilgrim School, we also send out a whole school Newsletter three times a year which includes updates, information, signposting and stories from across the school. Previous newsletters can be found here. More timely Pilgrim news stories can be found on the Latest News page of the website.

The majority of our school-to-home communication is sent out using the ParentMail platform.  Information about ParentMail and how to sign-up to the service should be shared with you during the initial home visit. Following this visit, you should receive a "sign-up" link via email and/or text message which will enable you to register for this communication. If you don't receive this link within a reasonable time-frame, please contact a member of the admin team at your child's base (i.e. Amber Hill, Baumber or Lincoln) who will be able to help. If your child is home taught, please contact our Baumber base for this purpose.
