Governor Activity 2021-22

The Governors of The Pilgrim School meet at least 6 times a year as a Full Governing Body.

In between these full meetings, we focus on specific aspects of Governance at the following Subcommittees; Curriculum and Standards, Resources including Finance, and Well Being.

We also have individual Governor responsibilities such as Safeguarding; SEND; E Safety; and Finance.

We have committees which meet when the need arises such as the Pay Committee and the head's Performance Management Committee.

The Chair of Governors meets with the Headteacher on a fortnightly basis unless the need arises to meet more often.

Minutes are taken and these include Governor attendance data. Confidential minutes are stored securely within School and on Governor Hub with restricted access. Once minutes have been agreed and signed by the relevant chair, they will be uploaded to the School website.
