Word of the Week

We aim for pupils to learn subject specific vocabulary alongside key skills and knowledge. These words are called 'tier 3' words and are not commonly used in everyday language.

Each base has it's own 'words of the week' based on which areas pupils have been learning but we will also be adding core subject words to this page of the website to enable access across the whole school community. 

To aid learning, we use a platform called 'Bedrock'. Each week, the core subject words will be added to a post below and then Bedrock used to support learning of each word.
